Noureddine El Alam joined Sage Hill in 2000 and serves as the Chair of the Mathematics Department and Head Coach of the varsity boys soccer team. From 1994 to 1999 he taught mathematics at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts. Noureddine is well-versed in all levels of mathematics, having taught courses through Multivariable Calculus including AP Statistics and Financial Literacy Seminar. He was a participant in the Klingenstein Summer Institute of Columbia University Teachers College in 1999 and has served as an instructor at the KSI since 2005. Noureddine is a frequent speaker at national and regional mathematics conferences and is an AP Reader for College Board. He also has the distinction of playing first-division professional soccer for the city of Fes in Morocco. He holds a national “B” license through the United States Soccer Federation and an advanced national diploma through the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

This will be the eighth year Chris Ellsasser has been involved with the boys varsity soccer team. Chris serves as the assistant varsity coach with special attention given to the teams defense and level of fitness.
Chris played his college level soccer at Brandeis University just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. After college, Chris played in several semi-professional leagues around the country. Prior to coaching at Sage Hill, Chris was the boys' varsity soccer coach for seven out of eight years at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California.

Chris Ellsasser currently teaches one section of senior English at Sage Hill and serves as the Director of Curriculum.

This is Coach Erath's seventh year coaching boy’s soccer at Sage Hill. Erath has coached the boy’s JV team for the last six years and will be the assistant coach to the boy’s Varsity team this year. His passion for coaching, coupled with hard working Sage Hill athletes, has resulted in a team that regularly finds itself at the top of league play. Coach Erath received his B.S. from Brigham Young University in 1999 and his M.S. from UC Irvine in 2001. He currently resides in Dana Point.
