    Dean of Academics – Start Date 7/1/2024
    Sage Hill School is excited to introduce an opening for a Dean of Academics. The Dean of Academics will serve as an academic leader focusing on curriculum, pedagogy, systems and structures, and coordinate the Standards for Exceptional Teaching at Sage Hill School (SETS), the School’s model for faculty growth and evaluation. They will collaborate with the Assistant Head of School to move forward the School’s goals of culturally-responsive, anti-biased, and inclusive classrooms where students feel a sense of belonging. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining an updated curricular scope and sequence and well as sound academic policies and processes based on relevant research. They will also work closely with other school leaders and departments such as the Department Chairs, the Sage Center team, Learning Specialist, Technology department, College Counseling, and School Counselors to ensure that academic practices are mission aligned with curricular and pedagogical goals. 
     
    The ideal candidate must have teaching experience and possess excellent interpersonal skills, superior communication skills, the ability to work well with teenagers and their parents, a strong understanding of the culture and goals of independent schools and have a B.A. or B.S. degree in the appropriate field. Preferred qualifications includes a master’s degree or higher and experience in independent schools.
     
    This is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position.
     
    Base compensation range: $140,000 - $170,000 – commensurate with experience.

    Campus Safety Officer
    Sage Hill is looking for active and alert individuals to provide a safe and secure environment for our community by providing access and traffic controls, patrolling the campus and documenting activities. All candidates must possess mental willingness and physical abilities to respond to emergencies. Punctuality, a professional appearance and a courteous demeanor are key qualifications for the job. A high school diploma is required. BSIS Guard Card and one year of campus safety experience is preferred. We have immediate openings for full-time and part-time positions.

    Hourly Rate Range: $20.00 - $22.00 – commensurate with experience.

    Head Girls’ Flag Football Coach
    The Head Girls’ Flag Football Coach is responsible for developing and leading the girls’ flag football program while supporting and upholding Sage Hill School’s mission. Sage Hill is looking for a dynamic and positive individual whose areas of strength include teaching, motivating, and character development. The ideal candidate would have experience as a head coach for girls’ flag football.

    Girls’ Lacrosse Assistant Coach
    The Assistant Coach for Girls’ Lacrosse is responsible for supporting the Head Coach as they lead the Girls’ Lacrosse program. Sage Hill is looking for a dynamic and positive individual who is motivated and passionate about the development of student-athletes. The ideal candidate would have experience competing at the collegiate level, and previous coaching experience is preferred.

    Boys’ Volleyball Assistant Coach
    The Assistant Coach for Boys’ Volleyball is responsible for supporting the Head Coach as they lead the Boys’ Volleyball program. Sage Hill is looking for a dynamic and positive individual who is motivated and passionate about the development of student-athletes. The ideal candidate would have experience competing at the collegiate level, and previous coaching experience is preferred.
