Sage Hill Alumnae Shine in First College Volleyball Matches

Sage Hill Alumnae Shine in First College Volleyball Matches
Last weekend three Sage Hill class of 2015 graduates --  Maddy Abbott (U. Michigan), Kekai Whitford (LMU), and Halland McKenna (Stanford) -- each made their debuts for their respective Division I volleyball programs. Each took on starting roles as college freshmen and proceeded to contribute to some very big wins. Maddy averaged 16 assists, 3 digs, and 1 ace each match as Michigan went 3-0 over the weekend. Halland started at Libero for Stanford as they went 2-0, defeating Texas A & M, and University of Minnesota. Kekai also earned the start for LMU, and in her second start (her first as the Libero), she helped LMU to a big upset over #20 UCLA. Both Halland and Kekai will have matches in Southern California later this fall, so stay tuned for upcoming news and the chance to see them play college ball.
