  • Annual Giving

    Annual Giving is crucial to the success of the school. Giving makes a difference to every aspect of the Sage Hill experience, from clubs, arts productions and athletics to renowned programs like Spring at Sage, the Sage Hill Internship Program and the Sage Center Speaker Series. Volunteers from the Parent Association create awareness about the fund's goals and the importance of participation, and actively encourage families to help the school reach their goal of 100% participation.
  • Career Series

    Career Series is a three-part Sage Hill program. Students learn and develop professional skills along with resume building and mock interviews. Year-round parent support is needed in both small and large time commitments. Here are some volunteer roles:

    Career Panel: Share your own career expertise as a speaker, help plan, or help out on the event day. (Chair: Shami Abraham)
    Sage Hill Internship Program: Work directly with students to review resumes, conduct mock interviews, or offer internship programs or shadow days at your workplace to Sage Hill students. (Chairs: Karla Button and Lauren Rednour)
    Parent Mixers: Speak at, network and help secure internship opportunities, or plan these evening events. (Chairs: Samina Mansuri, Veena Khurana and Rashmi Chaturvedi)
  • Dads of Sage

    A group dedicated to the men active in the lives of Sage Hill students. Network, socialize, and participate in Sage Hill events, including a couple of dad-led student events.

  • Faculty/Staff Appreciation

    Help plan, decorate, cook and/or serve “thank you” luncheons for Sage Hill faculty and staff. A total of three events will be hosted throughout the school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the hard-working faculty and staff of Sage Hill School.

  • Garden Crew

    You can really get your hands dirty with this one! Work together with Sage students and with Dr. Haney, Sage Hill science teacher, to care for this 3,500 square foot space. There is even a large chicken coop that houses egg-laying hens.  Volunteers can set their own schedule. No experience necessary.
  • Multicultural Fair

    Our biggest event of the year, celebrating the diversity of our community. The event features food booths, entertainment, ethnic bazaar, world crafts and more. There are year-round roles, day-of roles and everything in between.The kick-off meeting is set in the fall and heavily ramps up starting the new year.

  • Multicultural Symposium

    Students organize a morning of workshops and presentations for the Sage Hill community. The event is designed to inspire and promote equity and personal growth through challenging and thought-provoking discussions about various social issues. Parents support the students in event detail planning and day-of operations.

  • Parent Ambassador

    Do you have a passion for the school? Are you interested in connecting with prospective families and students and being advocates for the school in the community? Represent our school at Admissions coffees, tours and the school-wide Open House. Multi-lingual parents a huge plus!

  • Senior Breakfast

    We deliver a special send-off to our seniors and their families. We need non-senior parents to help host a final gathering for our graduating seniors and their families on campus.

  • Spring Celebration

    Spring Celebration directly benefits all school programs, including Fund-a-Need, which specifically benefits our financial aid endowment. This event was SOLD OUT last year! We need volunteers to help with sponsorships, underwriting, auction, raffle, community outreach and subcommittees.

  • Student Event Days

    We need the roll-up-your-sleeves people who make events happen. Volunteers are needed to set up, take down, prepare and serve food or supply a needed item. Commitments are typically a few hours on a single day, and are a great way to see the students.

    Pre-Finals All-School Student Breakfast/Lunch: December 16 and May 18
    Pep Rally Breakfast: October 25 and March 10
    Gelato/ Dessert Days: November 15 and April 24 (Chairs: Malinda Bryant and Laurie Martin)
  • Studio Volunteers

    Sage Hill's active performing arts program invites parents to assist as ushers, at the box office and concession booth.
  • As-Needed Helper

    We understand that many parents want to help, but need flexibility to work this into their busy schedules. Check this box, and we can alert you about upcoming events that provide one-time involvement opportunities.  This could be as simple as a request to drop off cookies, water or fruit for an event; to take an upcoming volunteer shift for a couple of hours, or to do a little office work for a committee from your home.
