Tennis Center at Sage Hill Opens
Sage Hill tennis players now have a new place to call home. The new Tennis Center at Sage Hill opened Friday, March 4 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Tennis Center also hosted the Ninth Annual Sage Hill School Prep Classic tennis tournament during the day.

“Our student athletes are really looking forward to playing in the new Tennis Center,” said Sage Hill Athletic Director Megan Cid. “Having this new facility is also a great way for all students to further participate in our athletics program and it helps build sportsmanship among students and our community,” she said.

The Tennis Center features CIF and Academy League tournament-ready courts that include two center and four regulation courts and spectator seating for all Lightning fans within the beautiful Sage Hill campus. The courts also will be available for Sage Hill physical health and wellness programs.

In 2015, the School launched a campaign to build the new Tennis Center and provide a venue for our Lightning Tennis Teams. Previously, student athletes had to practice and compete off-campus. Now students can play and practice at Sage Hill for a more convenient and healthier student schedule and life.

Funded entirely through philanthropic support from current parents, grandparents, alumni and their families as well as friends and foundation, the Tennis Center is the first phase of an expansion of the athletics facilities at Sage Hill. The School is continuing fundraising for a planned Aquatics Complex which will also offer a home to Sage Hill’s swimming and water polo teams.
