Sage Loses to #1 Ranked Los Alamitos
Having some difficulty during transitions and off the draw, Sage defense got a lot of action. Defense definitely improved throughout the game and learned how to communicate and work with one another. Los Al’s advanced stick work gave no opportunity for interceptions, but Sage defense did not make it easy for goals to be scored. Goalie Walker Moore had 14 incredible saves, Sophia Witte was quick on ground balls, and Chanelle Diaz was a valuable player on defense and had an impressive run down the field with the ball.
