New School Year, New Traditions
The best traditions usually involve food and sunshine as well as camaraderie and that’s exactly what faculty and staff enjoyed during the first of a series of new Wednesday Wall Lunches on September 2. Faculty and staff ate their lunch outside in Wilkins Town Square where they sat along the wall near the Johnson Family Library and under trees by the College Counseling Office. Head of School Patricia Merz believes this newest tradition is a great way for faculty and staff to bond and get to know each other as well as engage with Sage Hill students. In consideration of the older than usual audience, the lunchtime music playlist was adjusted to include hits from the ‘80s and ‘90s.
