Boys Varsity Lacrosse team defeats Div.1 Woodbridge 11-9 for the first time

The Lightning had too much offense for Woodbridge Warriors to handle. Sage had the upper hand and led the entire game until 4 minutes remained in the 4th quarter when the Warriors scored a goal and tied the game at 9-9. The Warriors were now on the attack and looked as though they were in control as Sage had used up all their subs and needed a breather.

Sage remarkably came back to score 2 more goals in the last 4 minutes to close out the match 11-9. The team played a fantastic match beating a Division 1 One school.
Scoring honors for the Lightning, #40 Ford Hanour had 4 goals to lead all scorers. #21 Logan Hamilton scored 3, #26 Lucas Ellison scored 2 and Jack Preston and Dash Grammar both scored one.

Coach Chris Disimile did a great job of coaching the team and calling out plays that were key to the victory.
