CDM defeats Sage

The Lightning came out as a new team ready to play from the first draw. There were successful transitions in the midfield, allowing offense to take more shots on goal than expected. Alayna Lewis scored three and was a major threat on draw controls, Jordan Team scored two, Heather Goldin, Daria Gordeeva, and Hayden Furey each scored one. Hayden Furey played excellent defense in the midfield and was able to make three interceptions. Chanelle Diaz had a couple successful runs down the field. Unfortunately with limited amount of subs, the Lightning were not able to keep up with the fresh CDM feet.
