Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad provides students with opportunities to explore science, engineering, and problem-solving through collaborative, hands-on learning experiences.
Team members prepare for competitions across a wide range of STEM disciplines including biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, engineering, coding and experimental design. Students typically specialize in a small number of events while working together as a team to ensure coverage across all competition areas. Competitions include written assessments, laboratory investigations, engineering challenges and device-building events that require students to apply critical thinking, creativity, teamwork and time management skills. Science Olympiad encourages intellectual curiosity, innovation, collaboration and a passion for STEM while representing Sage Hill School in regional, state and national academic competitions.
