Wellness Wednesday (Grades 9-12)
Students will meet for Wellness Wednesday during their Physical Health, Dance or free block.
Topics by grade level:
9th Grade - Under the Influence: Students will learn about the mental, social and social impacts of using various substances like alcohol and nicotine/vapes.
10th Grade - Healthy Relationships: Students will learn the importance of consent and emotional safety in building health relationships, maintaining boundaries in friendships and relationships, and how to communicate needs.
11th & 12th Grades - Consequences of Distracted Driving: Students will explore the critical importance of road safety. The discussion will focus on the high stakes of texting while driving and provide practical strategies for staying focused on the road.
