Where Do Your Clothes Come From?: Fiber Arts, Textiles and Sustainability

Explore the fascinating world of fiber arts and develop a new understanding of textiles and your relationship to the world around you. Through experiential learning and demonstrations, we will learn about a foundational fiber arts topic every day.

Explore the fascinating world of fiber arts and develop a new understanding of textiles and your relationship to the world around you. Through experiential learning and demonstrations, we will learn about a foundational fiber arts topic every day: spinning, weaving, knitting, felting, hand sewing and crochet. Woven throughout will be discussions about textiles and their impact on the earth, through topics such as fiber types, the life cycle of clothing, and sustainable crafting practices. All skill levels are welcome. A wide range of topics and activities are available -- we are excited to tailor your learning experience to you!
