Filmmaking Basics

This workshop introduces students to the core principles of filmmaking using iPads and iPad Pros as their primary production tools.

This workshop introduces students to the core principles of filmmaking using iPads and iPad Pros as their primary production tools. Through hands-on activities, students will learn essential skills including storyboarding, shot types, camera movement, lighting basics, acting for the camera, and introductory video editing. Participants will rotate through on-camera and behind-the-scenes roles, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process. By the end of the camp, each group will produce a short film project showcasing their new creative skills. Campers must bring an iPad or tablet. Note: Chromebooks are not supported on the School's network.
