Sage Hill defeats Whitney in Academy League match

Sage Hill’s #1 singles player senior Liana Korber swept all 3 sets without losing a game, sophomore Amira Tarsadia swept all 3 sets losing only 2 games, and sophomore Natalie Meltzer also swept all 3 sets losing only 5 games. In doubles seniors Kimberly Brown/Molly Wang swept all 3 sets losing only 4 games while senior Lauren Hsu and freshman Jaclyn Gerschultz swept 3 sets losing only 2 games. Sophomores Tess Alexander/Abby Ruck won 2 of 3 sets losing to the #1 Whitney doubles team, 4-6. Whitney is 0-1 in league while Sage Hill, ranked #5 in the CIF-SS Division 2 “Top Ten Poll” is 1-0 in league. Sage Hill next plays at J Serra on Monday.
