At the first Academy League meet of the season, the girls' varsity team came away with a win over the 5 other Academy League teams. Scoring runners for the girls were Sophia Witte (4th), Brittany Andressoo (9th), Caroline Grant (10th), Naomi Granados (12th) and Campbell Moore (19th).
The varsity boys' team finished 3rd behind the top-ranked St. Margaret's team and a much improved team from Crean Lutheran. Scoring for the Lighting were Brennan Hicks (5th), Jack Percival (9th), Chris Andras (10th), Dylan Thies (13th), and Ryan Fishel (19th).
There was also a JV competition within the race. The Sage Hill girls went 1-2-3-5-6 for a team score of 17 and a first place finish, led by senior Alexa McElroy (1st). The boys JV team finished 5th.
