Congrats to our runners on a great first meet of the season!!!
We had 30 runners compete Friday night on a flat, fast course in a unique, under-the-lights atmosphere! It was quite a night!
Special recognition goes our 14 freshman and new runners who competed in their first high school cross country race ever! Five of the returning Sage Hill runners ran their best ever time in just the first meet of the season and a number of others were very close to their PR's. Thanks to all of you who came out to support our kids and to those of you who adjusted your schedules for our late-night return!!!
Top boys times of the day over the 3-mile course included Dylan Thies (16:06), Jack Percival (16:31), Brennan Hicks (16:35), Chris Andras (16:36), and Alexis Michaca (17:44). Leading the girls team were Sophia Witte (20:30), Brittany Andressoo (21:35), Naomi Granados (22:02), Campbell Moore (23:17), and Sonya Mital (23:18).
