Wellness Wednesdays for 9th and 10th Grade Students

Students meet in person during their PE, dance or free block for the workshops below.

Ninth Grade: School Counselors Felicia McCulloch and Lynn Mountain, School Nurse Reanna Kirzhner and Learning Specialist April Leavenworth will meet all freshmen and discuss mental health; what symptoms can manifest; and how to find assistance. They will also cover stress and how to manage challenges in a positive way. Students will also get advice on staying active, getting enough sleep, and enjoying balance of life through “flow activities."

10th Grade: Sara Graham, Assistant Director for Global Education & Inclusion, discusses empathy and how to connect with others. Sophomores will meet in the McNeill Merz Loft.
