Sage Secures 2nd Place in League
Sage took an early 6-0 lead in the first round then took 4 more in the second round to secure the win and a second place finish in the Academy League. The Lightning took 3 in the last round for the 13-5 victory in the last Academy League match of the season for Sage. Sage finishes the regular season this Friday at Santa Margarita Catholic in a non-league match before the Academy League Individual Tournament next week and the beginning of post season play the week after.
Crean Lutheran has nailed down first place and are undefeated in league play. Sage finished second with wins over every team but Crean, and St. Margaret's finished third.
