Lightning takes Second Victory over Trinity League Team Beating J Serra 14-4

Sage Hill played their best match of the season according to Head Coach A.G. Longoria. The doubles teams took 8 of 9 matches as Eric Magliarditi/Omead Moini at #1 doubles and David Kim/Gordon Strelow at #2 doubles swept and Han Chin/Grant Janavs at #3 doubles took 2 of 3. In singles Kian Etedali at #3 singles took 1 match, Shayan Emtiaz took 2 matches at #2 singles and the Lightning’s #1 singles player Adam Langevin swept all 3 of his matches.
With a 3-3 overall record (wins over Laguna Beach, Mater Dei, and J Serra) the team is starting to gel. Starting 4 freshman (Lagevin, Moini, Janavs, Chin) has not been easy for the Lightning in the early going but they are starting to play better and have gained some degree of confidence.
Sage Hill has their work cut out for them as they host The Prep Classic with Oaks Christian, Windward Academy, Sage, and Mater Dei, Friday and Saturday at The Tennis Club of Newport Beach.
