Santa Margarita Takes Out Sage Hill, 16-2 in Boys Tennis

SMCHS, ranked #9 in the current CIF Division One Weekly Top Ten, won 8 of 9 singles matches and 8 of 9 doubles matches to defeat Sage Hill 16-2 in no n-league boys tennis action. The Eagles #1 singles player, Max Baire, won 6-1 and 6-2 before being replaced in the third round. Eagles #2 singles player, Navid Ghaffari, swept 6-0, 6-0,6-2. SMCHS #3 singles player, Arya Taynai, also swept , 6-2, 6-2, 6-2.

In doubles Ricky Kurtz/Jordon Geis, SMCHS, swept at #1, 6-3, 6-4, 6-0, while #2 doubles team of Ryan Duncan//Tyler McDonald, won 6-2, 6-2, and lost 0-6. At #3 SMCHS Mirko/NickSt. John, swept 6-3, 6-3, 6-1.
