Burke's return not enough to lift Lightning past the Saints

The game against Crean Lutheran was one of the strongest that the team has played during league. They possessed the ball, playing with speed and quick touches in the middle of the field. And although the Lightning had many attacking chances in Crean’s defensive third (over 10 shots on target) they just couldn’t seem to make any of them successful. The back line showed great strength from its usual line-up and additional force from Paige Burke who was happily welcomed back after an injury earlier in the season. With no goals on the offensive side, the team was looking at a potential 0-0 tie, until the last 15 minutes of the game when the opposing team scored both of their goals.
