The Sage Hill Lightning Boys Lacrosse team dominated the Temecula Valley Golden Bears for most of the afternoon Friday and emerged with a 10-6 victory. The Lightning jumped out to a 9-2 lead early in the second half. Goalie David Swerdlow had a spectacular game with 25 saves including numerous point-blank stops. Freshman and Sophomore attackmen Lucas Ellison, Jack Preston, Logan Hamilton, and Daschle Grammar combined for 8 of the Lightning's 10 goals. Senior captain Ford Hanour also added two goals and three assists and won 8 out of 13 faceoffs. Tom Fenner, Jay Murray and defensive midfielder Charlie Kim were stingy on defense all afternoon.
