Great Oak defeats Sage

This game was a touch loss as Sage was neck and neck with Great Oak until they pulled away with the win 20-17. Alaina Collazo is growing up in goal for the Lightning as she had 15 saves in the game. The game went back and forth trading goals between the teams but Great Oak won ground balls in the end that allowed them to pull away with the game. The Lightning displayed great passing and movement up the field and settled the ball the best they have all season. Alayna Lewis scored 9 goals in the game. Jenna Shapiro scored 3, Claudia Noto scored 2, and both had 2 assists. Emily Shimano scored her first 2 goals of the season. Sophia Witte scored 1 with 3 assists. Danielle Kain had 1 interception and 1 assist.
