Fairmont defeats Sage

Fourteen points from freshman Ava Soleimany and Tierney Danner's 8th double/double of the season (12 points and 13 rebounds) were not enough for Sage who fell to Fairmont in its last pre-season game of the year. The loss broke a 3 game Sage winning streak. Sage rallied to cut the Faimont lead late in the 4th quarter, but was forced to foul and Fairmont hit 7 of 9 free throws down the stretch. Sage lost both Tierney Danner and Hannah Jeffrey to fouls late in the game.
