Karina Hamilton Honored- Founding Trustee at Sage Hill

UC Irvine Honors Karina Hamilton with the Living our Values Award

These awards honor members of the University of California, Irvine employee community whose actions best embody the university's values of respect, intellectual curiosity, integrity, commitment, empathy, appreciation and fun. After careful consideration, four individuals and one team have been selected as award recipients.

Individual award recipients are Mandy K. Mount, director, Campus Assault Resources and Education; Karina M. Hamilton, director, Sage Scholars Program; Chetan Chowdhry, 4th year student in political science/environmental analysis; and Cecelia M. Lynch, associate
professor, political science and director of the Center for Global Peace and Conflict Studies.

Six staff members from psychiatry and human behavior - Jolene Arroyo, Santiago Gomez, Joann T. Trinh, Tara Finn, Ric Ruelas and Thaddeus Barrow - received the team award.

All were nominated by colleagues who found inspiration in their contributions to our community, with many providing such exemplary service it made the choice of our finalists extraordinarily difficult. Profiles of award recipients and an honor roll of nominees can be viewed at chancellor.uci.edu.
