Sailing Team Takes First Place at Rose Bowl Regatta

Congratulations to the Sage Hill varsity sailing team, which sailed to a solid first place win in the 2020 Rose Bowl Regatta on January 4 and 5 in Long Beach.

The team includes:
Darcy Chung ‘20
Alistair Coyle ‘21
Ezugo Ononye ‘20
Brooks Orradre ‘23
Colin Sueyoshi ‘22
Koby Twist ‘21

Of particular note, sailors Brooks and Colin maintained top three placements for over 75% of the races in the B division, placing first in their division.

The A team also performed really well, placing 4th in their division. The combined scores and solid performance from both divisions yielded a very solid first place lead (by 28 points) in the Bronze Fleet for our team. Go Lightning!
