What is your proudest accomplishment since graduating from Sage Hill School? My proudest accomplishment since graduating from Sage Hill was obtaining a Divison 1 tennis scholarship at the George Washington University.
What about your experience at Sage Hill prepared you for what you are doing now? Having to manage a full-time practice schedule as a nationally ranked tennis player along with Sage Hill's rigorous academic curriculum has enabled me to excel in my current career as a commercial real estate broker at Cushman & Wakefield. The drive, dedication and hustle that I obtained as a student athlete at Sage Hill has been invaluable for my personal and professional development. Sage Hill ultimately taught me that I have the ability to achieve my goals in my personal and professional life and the only thing that bars me from doing so is my mindset, accountability and my work ethic. Ultimately, my experience at Sage Hill has been fundamental in shaping me into the person that I am today.
What about your Sage Hill experience impacted the person you are today? This could be a favorite class, a person, a club, etc… The Sage Hill tennis team, both the members of the team, along with Coach A.G., had a huge impact in giving me the foundation to achieve success in all aspects of my life. Being a member of the Sage Hill tennis team was incredibly special, as it enabled me to achieve my dreams of obtaining a D1 tennis scholarship at GWU. My experience on the Sage Hill tennis team enabled me to gain the confidence and self-belief that I could achieve anything that I put my mind to. Ultimately, my experience as a student athlete in tennis has been invaluable in shaping me into the person that I am today.
If you could share one piece of advice to current Sage Hill students, what would it be? Be as actively involved in the Sage Hill community as you can. Sage is such a special community that has enabled me to establish life-long friendships along with professional connections that have been invaluable for my growth and development. I am currently the volunteer assistant coach for the Sage Hill tennis team as well as a member of the Alumni Council and both organizations have been a special way for me to become reconnected with the Sage community.
What’s your favorite Sage-y memory? The Sage Hill senior prank!
