Freshmen Focus on 'Conflict and Compromise' for NHD Presentation Night
On Wednesday, February 28, Sage Hill’s History and Social Studies Department hosted National History Day Presentation Night in the Peter V. Ueberroth Gymnasium. This year’s NHD Night was dedicated to the theme of “Conflict and Compromise” in history.
For the past several weeks in their Patterns of Civilizations classes, Sage Hill freshmen have used the historical method to craft and support a thesis with historical evidence from credible sources. For their final project, students could choose between the mediums of producing websites, poster exhibits, documentaries, dramatic performances and research papers.
