Sage Hill Model United Nations Team Shines in Recent Competition
Congratulations to the 20 Sage Hill delegates who competed in the 33rd Annual Mission Viejo Model United Nations (MUN) Conference recently.

Earning awards of Commendation were Sage Hill students: Anuli Ononye, Mia Lehavi, and Daniel Gamini. Earning awards of Outstanding were: Emma Rafatjoo, Nick Bost, Sarah Kim, Priya Kamdar, Henry Lavacude-Cola and Meghana Khurana.

Sophomore Sarah Saboorian earned a Best Delegate award in UNODC.

MUN fosters public speaking, knowledge of global issues, collaboration, and diplomacy. At conferences that simulate the actual United Nations, Sage Hill’s MUN team represents one country and the students serve as delegates. Students debate world issues such as peacekeeping, human rights, and economic and social development.
