Both the girls JV and the Girls Varsity teams came away with first-place finishes at the second Academy League meet of the season held at Salt Creek State Park.
The Varsity Girls scored 51 points to edge Whitney by 10 points. The lighting squad was led by Sophia Witte (4th), Brittany Andressoo (7th), Caroline Grant (8th), Lily Mora (14th), and Campbell Moore (18th). Coral Lee (1st) and Rannah Dabiri (2nd) led the JV girls to a perfect score of 15!!!
On the boys side, the Lightning once again finished 3rd behind St. Margaret's and Crean Lutheran. Leading scorers were Jack Percival (6th), Dylan Thies (8th), Brennan Hicks (11th), Chris Andras (15th), and Alexis Michaca (23rd).
