AV Systems Engineer – start date – Immediate Availability
The AV Engineer is part of the IT department and is responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of the School’s AV equipment and support all on and off campus events that require presentation and performance technology, especially in the Kazu Fukuda Black Box Theater. The AV Systems Engineer will also provide support and training to student crews and the community granted use of presentation spaces.  The AV Systems Engineer must manage timely communication with the IT and Arts department due to the high volume of projects and performances.
 
Qualifications:
Technical
  • Minimum of six full musical theater productions in the capacity of Production Sound Engineer and three as the Sound designer
  • Experience with Q-lab, Yamaha and Allen and Health audio consoles, Dante PA system, Shure microphones, control systems 
  • Experience with controls systems: Creston, QSC (Q-SYS) and Extron
  • Experience with Meyer Sound Constellation Systems, lighting equipment and systems and streaming equipment is a plus
  • Experience in an educational environment, a plus  
  • BA in related area
General
  • Work with students, parents, teachers and the school community
  • Excellent time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, including flexibility and collaboration
  • Ability to lift and carry 50-75 pounds, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand for long periods of time, use of hands to handle objects or controls and to reach, work at heights and in performance spaces, including fly loft, catwalks, loading galleries, grid, rooftops and storage spaces
  • Flexible schedule to work nights and weekends as needed
This is a full-time, non-exempt, benefit eligible position.
 
Hourly rate range: $37.00 - $42.00, commensurate with experience

Assistant Director of the Sage Center for Global Education and Inclusion – Start date July 1, 2025
The Sage Center is looking for a dynamic person with an adventurous spirit to join their team. The Assistant Director of The Sage Center for Global Education and Inclusion will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and leading the implementation of the School’s global and experiential education initiatives. This position will oversee the Spring at Sage program, managing both international and domestic travel experiences and local seminars that enrich student learning and global engagement. Also, this position will drive key diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives that align with the school’s broader strategic goals, fostering an environment where all students and faculty thrive. The Assistant Director will also maintain a presence in the classroom by teaching 2 sections. The ideal candidate must possess a demonstrated ability to lead from the middle, a proven experience leading and managing international and domestic travel programs, a good understanding of global issues, global trends, and cross-cultural competence and excellent interpersonal and organization skills with the ability to work in a face paced environment. BA or BA required, MS or MA and independent school experience preferred.  
 
This is a year round full-time exempt and benefits eligible position.
 
Annual (12 month) Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with years of experience)
