Coaches

Whit Kenerson joined Sage Hill as a tennis coach in 2016, and this will be his third year as head coach. He first started teaching PE classes at Colgate University in upstate New York while in college and spent summers at the Windridge Tennis Camp in Vermont. He played #1 at Colgate his last three years and the team was ranked in the top 15 in the country. He was the representative for Southern Cal several years at the UNISCO Nationals before going back to tennis full time. Coach Kenerson met his wife, Marcy, at a tennis league program he was running. They have three daughters who all played varsity tennis at Corona del Mar High School. During his time as Lightning tennis coach, the boys’ varsity team won its first Division 1 title with a 19-0 record.
