Model UN Team Scores Well at First Meet of Year

Sage Hill’s Model United Nations team attended the South Orange County Model United Nations competition at Santa Margarita Catholic High School on Saturday, September 23.

Students represented various countries and served as delegates at the conferences that simulated the actual United Nations, debating world issues. There were three different levels of competition: novice, intermediate and advanced.

The Sage Hill delegation received the following awards:

Novice:

Robert Burch - commendation
Natalie Rosenberg - Best Delegate
Jeffrey Gao - commendation
Ali Ansari- commendation
Aria Aydin - commendation
Shalini Patel - outstanding

Intermediate:
Hannah Romeo - commendation
Ian Grimm - outstanding
Daniel Fishman - outstanding
Mia Lehavi - outstanding
William Stomber - commendation
Dylan Long - outstanding
Tyler Wong - outstanding

Advanced:
Henry Lavacude-Cola - commendation
Anuli Ononye - outstanding
