Student Athletes Recognized by CIF-SS Academic Awards

Student Athletes Recognized by CIF-SS Academic Awards
Sage Hill School is proud to be home to many talented student-athletes. This year, all of Sage Hill’s eligible varsity teams placed or qualified for a CIF Southern Section Academic Award.

To be considered for this award, the entire team’s roster must have a minimum 3.0 team GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in the first semester of the 2016-2017 school year. Sage Hill placed or qualified in every eligible sport in the category for schools with an enrollment of 1,499 students or less. The highest team GPA in each sport determines the overall winner and subsequent rankings.

Additionally, seniors Elijah Soto and Jamie Dailey won the individual “Student Athlete of the Year” awards for Sage Hill. This award is given only to seniors who have maintained a minimum of a 3.5 GPA over the past three years, in addition to earning a letter in at least one varsity sport and participating in extracurricular activities.
