Diversity Consultant Offers Insight to Prep Students for Working in a Global Community
Mark your calendar for Monday, January 4 at 6:30 PM, when Sage Hill welcomes esteemed diversity consultant Dr. Steven Jones to the Black Box Theater. Dr. Jones' presentation is one of our Sage Hill School Parent Education Series, which brings together parents, faculty and staff to learn and participate in discussions that will contribute to our students' future success. All Sage Hill parents are invited.

Exploring the global community and workforce
Dr. Jones will discuss building a common language, framework, and skills for supporting Sage Hill School’s goals regarding diversity and inclusion for all students on campus. Through initiatives in inclusivity, diversity, equity and justice, Sage Hill aims to support the development of essential 21st century skills -- preparing your child to lead in a global and diverse workforce and community.

Nationally known as one of "America's Top Experts on Diversity”, Dr. Jones is the CEO of Jones & Associates Consulting, Inc., a firm that specializes in diversity and organizational change consulting. Dr. Jones holds a B.S. in computer science, a M.Ed. in counseling, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology. While Dr. Jones currently serves as a National Diversity Advisor to corporations like Sempra Energy and Honda, he also places a significant amount of his focus working with colleges, universities, independent and public schools to further their mission to become more diverse and inclusive at all levels.
