Great California Shakeout Drill

Sage Hill School will participate in the Great California Shakeout Drill on Thursday, October 15. This drill is an opportunity to practice how to protect ourselves in the event of an earthquake. At around 10:15 AM, an announcement will go out on the campus PA system for students, faculty and staff to "drop, cover and hold on" during the simulated drill.

Students in distance learning can also participate in this drill at home. Students on campus should remain socially distanced in their classroom spaces while participating. All persons should, if possible, take cover under something sturdy such as a desk, cover the head and neck area with the arms, and hold on.

There will not be an evacuation to Ramer Field, and the School will not be sending out emergency alerts to parents during this drill.
