Instrumental Music Performance
This concert will present the String Orchestra and Wind Ensemble in a unique collaborative performance. The program theme, “Musical Images,” features popular and dramatic music from film, video games and the stage, among others. The program includes two works by Los Angeles-based composer Soon Hee Newbold, who worked directly with our musicians in preparation for this performance. Additional highlights include music from “The Greatest Showman,” “La La Land,” “How to Train Your Dragon” and the Broadway hit “Hamilton.”
