Boys’ Lacrosse

The Boys ‘Lacrosse team started their 2011 season with their first practice on February 14. The team outlook is very good with a great mix of senior leadership and an influx of freshman talent. The team has also added Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator Chris Disimile as well as Chris Marshall returning as our Goalie Coach. The team has 5 Captains: Sophomore Jay Murray and Seniors TJ Danner, Alex Raymond, Sammy Witte and returning team MVP Taylor Ross. We are very excited to get the season started to see where we stand against our competition. Some of our key games this year will be J Serra, Los Alamitos and Huntington Beach, who we hosted on Friday March 4 at 5:30 PM.

Key players for the Lightning are Taylor Ross at midfield, Alex Raymond at long stick midfield, Sammy Witte and Lucas Ellison at attack and Jay Murray and Ford Hanour on Defense. Although young and slightly inexperienced, Sage Hill Lacrosse looks to surprise plenty of teams on their schedule with how hard and well they play in 2011.

Go Lightning!!!
