Spring Celebration was a Night to Remember!
5/26/2015
A big thank you to all who attended and supported Sage Hill’s 2015 “South Seas” Spring Celebration! More than 360 Sage Hill parents, friends, alumni, faculty and staff were treated to a festive tropical themed evening celebrating the Sage Hill community and another extraordinary school year. The talented 2015 Spring Celebration Committee, led by Co-Chairs Cherry Dickinson and Deirdre Lewis, put on a memorable event that was enjoyed by all! Kudos to all the committee members, Cherry and Deirdre for their dedication and hard work. We also want to thank our Sponsors and Underwriters and everyone who attended and bid on the fantastic array of silent and live auction items. Your support helped make Spring Celebration a wonderful success.

As always, the Fund A Need auction was a truly moving part of the evening, as guests contributed critical funds for financial aid that will impact our entire Sage Hill community. Sage Hill is so fortunate to have many generous donors who support this program. There are also a number of donors who are providing tremendous support by sponsoring one student for four years. While some wish to remain anonymous, we want to express our sincere gratitude to existing Sage Hill Scholar donors: The John L. Gray Scholarship Foundation, Janet Hadley and Larry Webb, Soogie and Don Kang, Christy and Lou Marlin, Halland McKenna, Jeri and Danny McKenna, Michael Ray, Kevin and Tina Sung, and the Schuyler Hodge Family who are supporting three students from El Sol Science and Arts Academy of Santa Ana.

We also extend heartfelt appreciation to two new Fund A Need Donors who raised their paddles to contribute a 4 year scholarship at the event: The Argyros Family Foundation and the Schuyler Hodge Family, who committed to another four-year scholarship for an El Sol student! Your dedication to Sage Hill School’s students and mission is an inspiration to us all.

If you were unable to join us, you are still able to make a difference in your student’s life by donating to Financial Aid through Fund-A-Need, which directly benefits our financial aid program. If you are interested in making a donation or have further questions, please contact Jen Granger at (949)219-1345 or grangerj@sagehillschool.org.

It takes a village – or in this case, an Ohana – to create such a special event with inspiring results. If you would like to serve on next year’s volunteer event committee headed by Co-Chairs Deirdre Lewis and Angie Abbott, please contact Sue Burns at BurnsS@sagehillschool.org or 949.219.1347. Meetings will begin this fall.
