Diversity and Inclusion Workshop Empowers Student Leaders
Diversity and Inclusion Workshop Empowers Student Leaders
On Saturday, September 12, approximately 26 Sage Hill student leaders participated in a diversity and inclusion workshop led by Cultural Competency Consultant Rosetta Lee. Since 2004, Rosetta has been a diversity speaker and trainer on a variety of issues, including cross-cultural communication, identity development, prejudice reduction and coalition building, gender and sexuality diversity, facilitation skills, bullying in schools, and gender bias in the classroom. Our student leaders are already applying these newly acquired cross-cultural communication and facilitation skills to our community, creating an even more inclusive school environment.
Sage Hill School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other School administered programs.
