Lightning Football Ready to Go for First Game

Lightning Football Ready to Go for First Game
The Lightning Football team is looking forward to its first game of the season vs. Calvary Chapel Schools of Downey, which is Friday, August 26, 7:00 PM at Sage Hill’s Ramer Field. Sage Hill Football Coach BJ Crabtree said, “We are more than ready to start the season. The team has been giving it 150 percent effort during the summer with learning new plays, working out and lots of practice. I am confident we have a solid team filled with great athletic talent and team spirt.”

The team transitioned to an eight-man football team last year and Coach Crabtree joined as the new head football coach prior to the summer. The entire Sage Hill community is invited to attend Friday’s game. Cheer on the team and grab some delicious tacos and burritos as well as refreshing drinks from Taqueria De Anda. The halftime presentation will include a celebration and ring ceremony for our 2016 CIF Championship Baseball team. Dean of School Life Jon Poffenberger will be on the mic and DJ Robert Ortiz will be in the house.

Fun giveaways will include: pom poms, foam fingers and much more. We hope to see you and your family at the game.

Go Lightning!
