Girls’ Swim Team Breaks School Records
The Sage Hill Girls’ Swim team broke two Sage Hill School records during the April 29 swim meet versus Crean Lutheran South High School. Junior Emily Lassiter won the 50 meter freestyle swim with a time of 26.03 seconds setting a new record for Sage Hill in the event and beating the previous record of 26.72 seconds set in 2015. She is now ranked first in Academy League in the 50 freestyle going into league preliminaries and finals.

The girls’ 200 meter free relay team – comprised of Carly Lubowe, Chloe Hoch, Hannah Leigh, and Emily Lassiter – also made a mark for themselves with a record-breaking time of 1:55:02 to smash the previous record of 1:59.35. Congratulations!
