With each graduating class, Sage Hill School’s legacy of pioneering an innovative and individualized approach to education continues to grow.
A small group of visionary community leaders and enthusiastic parents come together to build a non-profit, non-denominational, independent secondary school in Orange County. Their intention was to develop a school that would inspire innovative thinking, nurture creative thought, and embrace diversity.
Sage Hill School opens its doors to 120 students in grades 9 and 10.
First class graduates.
Sage Hill School’s Honor Code is adopted.
Eight athletics teams advance to CIF.
30,000 square-foot state-of-the-art visual and performing arts teaching, performance and exhibition space, the Studio at Sage Hill, opens.
Sage Hill School celebrates its ten-year anniversary.
Spring at Sage year-end travel, seminar, and independent project program begins.
Athletics facilities are enhanced with professional grade Mondo™ turf athletic field and track.
The Lisa Argyros & Family Science Center opens, housing teaching and learning space for biology, chemistry and physics as well as interdisciplinary study of science and long-term research.
