Annual Fund 2011-2012
Every year, Sage Hill School counts on the members of our community to support our mission with an annual gift to the Annual Fund, which together with tuition, helps cover school expenses for this year.
Did you know that 100% of our faculty, staff and trustees made a contribution to last year's Annual Fund? We’re on track for 100% participation again this year. Our goal is to reach 100% participation from our Sage Hill parents, too. We encourage your participation at the level most comfortable for you. Every gift makes a difference. Support from our parents conveys to foundations and corporations that you value your Sage Hill School experience. With your help we can reach our $900,000 goal in the 2011-12 school year.
A challenge has been issued by our Annual Fund Class Leaders to see which class will get the highest participation this year. Here are the standings as of February 17, 2012:
Sage Hill’s Annual Fund provides vital unrestricted funds to sustain and balance this year’s operating budget and helps bridge the $5,000 gap between tuition and the true cost of educating each child.
The Annual Fund supports our outstanding faculty who, in addition to providing superb classroom instruction, are also advisors, club leaders, coaches, academic resource center volunteers and service learning liaisons. Gifts to the annual fund also help sustain long-term goals of moderate tuition increases and provide vital financial aid funds to maintain a diverse student population.
This year Mel and Mark Murray, parents of Samantha ('10) and Jay ('13), serve as annual fund co-chairs. The Murrays bring with them a passion for Sage Hill and extensive knowledge in finance, business and fundraising.
